The researchers took some sixty models of gloves most commonly used in Québec industry for protection against mechanical hazards and subjecting them to cut, puncture and tear resistance tests, in accordance with current international standards for protective clothing materials. The information collected was used to produce a guide that users can refer to in selecting the gloves best adapted to their needs.
