While several work environments are affected by the inability of personnel to remain on the job or to return to it due to psychological problems, the resulting high rate of absenteeism in the public service is a concern, mainly in the current context of manpower shortages. Consequently, an in-depth evaluation of the determining factors of this disability is necessary.
