A support tool for choosing respiratory protection against bioaerosols Open This support tool for choosing respiratory protection against bioaerosols aims to help you choose appropriate, effective respiratory protection against infectious and non-infectious bioaerosols found in the workplace, which can be a complex task because of the lack of bioaerosol exposure standards. It is intended for takeholders in industrial hygiene and occupational health and safety and health professionals and physicians in a variety of sectors, including: Health care Agriculture Industry Municipalities Businesses Others The tool consists of a six-step approach that uses control banding, based on the hazard associated with bioaerosols and the exposure level of workers.
