Promoting Mindful, Engaged Leadership: Development and Assessment of an Online Self-Management Program to Foster Managers’ Mental Health and a Positive Work Atmosphere Abstract This project aims to develop, implement and assess a new web-based mental health self-management program for managers in the service sector – the industry that employs the majority of Quebec workers. A vast amount of research has covered interventions intended to prevent mental health issues in employees, but few studies have specifically addressed managers’ mental health.Nevertheless, managers’ mental health is an important target for intervention, since their psychological status impacts their management practices and, as a knock-on effect, the work atmosphere and employees’ health.
