Adaptation of a self-diagnostic tool to facilitate the safe integration of new workers in the forestry sector Abstract A research team funded by the IRSST produced a self-diagnostic tool on the safe integration of new workers in the mining sector (2016-0053). This self-diagnostic tool could also meet a need regarding the safe integration of workers in the forestry industry. To meet this need, the team proposes to adapt the mining-sector tool for the forestry sector, specifically for the pulp and paper, sawmill and furniture manufacturing subsectors.
