Preventing Violence among Employees of the same Work Organization Abstract A study funded by the IRSST has demonstrated that violence in a workplace could be prevented, while having a positive impact on the workers’ health, by implementing a labour/management participatory prevention process. Resulting from the knowledge from this study is a new Web site, developed by the IRSST and the RIPOST research team helps companies implement such a process in their work environment. This site proposes a five-step process (employers-employees). Besides providing awareness-raising arguments regarding violence, the site offers several concrete examples and turnkey tools that are easily downloadable and applicable in companies.Web site: http://www.irsst.qc.ca/prevention-violence Produced Under this Project Guide and Tools Preventing interpersonnal violence in the workplace Intervention tool: OUT-001 Simplified Articles Site Web sur la prévention de la violence interpersonnelle au travailDes utilisateurs commentent Volume 26, n0 4 Additional Information Type: Knowledge Transfer Activity Number: 2012-0033 Status: Completed Year of completion: 2013 Research Field: OSH and Sustainable Prevention Work Environment Team: Charles Gagné (IRSST)Linda Savoie (IRSST)Nathalie Jauvin (CSSS de la Vieille Capitale)Nadine Bolduc (CSSS de la Vieille Capitale)Michel Vézina (Institut national de santé publique du Québec)Marie-France Lafond (CSSS de la Vieille Capitale)
