Application of preventive practices by nurses: the innovative perspective of absorption capacity Abstract Although the health and social services sector has been the subject of much research, it has been noted that much of the knowledge resulting from these studies has never been transferred to nurses. To correct this shortcoming, a team first wishes to do two literature reviews: one on the transfer, application and capacity to absorb OHS knowledge, and another on preventive practices and their application in the health care community. The researchers then plan to survey unionized nurses by questionnaire in order to document factors that may improve the application of research findings and propose courses of action and practical tools.
