Handling Context Analysis Grid Abstract A previous project (0099-5630) led to the development and validation of a handling context analysis grid whose purpose is to guide users towards a more general management of problems by using training as leverage for other changes. This time, the people in charge of this project will transpose this grid into an appropriate form for two target clienteles. The first consists of OHS practitioners, namely advisors from joint sector-based associations, CSST inspectors, and professionals from the Québec public occupational health network and consultants, who carry out interventions in companies. At the end of the work, they will have a tool to enhance and support their practice when identifying and analyzing hazardous handling situations, when planning elements in a training program, and when exploring other prevention scenarios. The other clientele consists of OHS managers and other people in companies who conduct interventions with the practitioners and who play a key role in the prevention of hazards associated with handling activities in their workplaces. The tool that will be offered to them will provide them with a better understanding of the handling situations in their own workplace, and allow them to interact with OHS practitioners, mainly for training, and to be proactive in prevention.
