Updating of the MIXIE computer-based tool, toxicological interactions Abstract The Regulation respecting occupational health and safety (ROHS) contains data on the permissible exposure values (PEVs) of more than 700 substances. The aim of this project is to update the database (DB) and the MIXIE computer-based tool in relation to current regulations and toxicological data published since the previous edition of the DB. MIXIE is a tool used for evaluating the risk represented by a mixture of several chemical substances in the workplace. It consists of computerized data sheets indicating the target organs common to all the substances contained in Schedule I of the ROHS.As a result of this update, the Québec occupational health and safety community will be better informed about the potential risks related to the toxicological interactions between the chemical substances described in Schedule I of the ROHS.
