Literature review of knowledge transfer, and development of a model of knowledge transfer Abstract This study is part of the Institute’s ongoing efforts to provide the working community with knowledge that helps prevent or reduce the incidence and severity of occupational injuries. The literature on knowledge transfer in the fields of psychology, sociology, economics, education, health, and administration was critically reviewed, and a model that promotes knowledge transfer proposed. The model takes into account the characteristics of the clientele and the knowledge to be transferred, as well as the role of transfer intermediaries.
