Scientific Policy
The IRSST adopted a new scientific policy more in line with its current realities. This major revamping led to a policy that better reflected the Institute’s mission, its new organizational structure and the diversification of its grant and research support programs.
Stop-watch calibration
The Calibration Laboratory Assessment Service (CLAS) of the National Research Council of Canada expanded the accreditation of the IRSST’s laboratories to include stop-watch calibration .
2e Congrès francophone sur les TMS (Francophone conference on MSDs)
The IRSST organized, in collaboration with the Groupe de recherche francophone sur les TMS, the 2e Congrès francophone sur les TMS (second French-language conference on MSDs). The 300 researchers and stakeholders it brought together evaluated the scientific advances made in this area and pondered the avenues to take to curb musculoskeletal disorders.
Prix Antoine-Aumont
The AQHSST paid tribute to the work of IRSST researcher Esther Cloutier by awarding her the Prix Antoine-Aumont.
