At the Gala Excellence ÉTS of the École de technologie supérieure, held on April 8, the Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et sécurité du travail (IRSST) was named Partenaire d’excellence en recherche-innovation [outstanding innovation-research partner].

This honour underscores the exceptional collaboration between the IRSST and the ÉTS in joint research projects. For a number of years now, the two institutions have frequently collaborated on a variety of major projects, such as the Development of a range of comfort indices for earplugs to improve hearing protection for workers project, whose importance was underscored at the gala. A total of 11 joint research projects are currently being carried out by the ÉTS and the IRSST.
