Alessia Negrini has been a researcher in the field of occupational health psychology at the IRSST since 2012. She is also an associate researcher at the Centre de recherche CSSS Champlain—Charles-Le Moyne and, since 2019, at the Centre de recherche de l’Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal (CR-IUSMM). Alessia has research expertise on the return to work and employment retention of workers in vulnerable situations due to age and health status. She has in-depth knowledge of quantitative methodology, which she applies to the development and validation of measurement tools to assess psychosocial factors, organization of working conditions, and the subjective comfort of personal protective equipment, among other things. The results of her studies, which are conducted based on a positive multidisciplinary approach, make it possible to evaluate psychosocial factors (risk and protective factors) in order to prevent occupational disabilities and maintain OHS conditions that promote worker health, in both prevention and occupational rehabilitation.
