Profile

Iuliana Nastasia has been a researcher in the IRSST’s Occupational Rehabilitation research field since 2005. After obtaining a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in ergonomics from UQAM, she did a postdoctoral fellowship in ergonomics at École polytechnique de Montréal. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in work disability prevention from Université de Sherbrooke, which she obtained under the Strategic Training Initiative program of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. Her research interests focus on return-to-work practices and ergonomic intervention in the field of rehabilitation. Among other things, Ms. Nastasia is interested in the development of approaches and tools for workplaces in order to improve the return-to-work of workers on long-term disability. She is also an associate researcher at the Centre de recherche du CSSS Champlain-Charles-Le Moyne and an associate professor in the School of Rehabilitation of Université de Sherbrooke’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
