Profile

Patrice Duguay has worked at the IRSST since 1984. He has been team leader of the Statistical Surveillance Group at the Institute’s Scientific Division since 2006. His work focuses on producing statistical studies and developing indicators for the frequency, severity and costs of compensated occupational injury costs in Québec. He has been responsible for numerous studies aimed at identifying the risk, severity and characteristics of occupational injuries in Québec. He has also collaborated in numerous research projects with a statistics component involving at-risk populations or occupational injuries. His recent subjects of study have been work-related road accidents and the production of annual occupational injury indicators.
