Samantha Vila has been a scientific professional at the IRSST since 2021. She holds a jointly supervised Ph.D. in sociology from Université de Montréal and Aix-Marseille Université (France) obtained in March 2021. Her research interests at the IRSST relate to psychological health in the workplace (including workplace wellness), the social determinants of health, psychosocial factors, and perceptions of justice in the workplace. Her research focuses on sustainable prevention, occupational health and safety (OHS), and workers’ return to and retention at work.
